10 Relatively Clean Boondock Saints Quotes

The Boondock Saints is a 1999 American film which follows the activities of twins, Connor and Murphy MacManus, who become vigilantes, and set out to rid their home city of Boston, Massachusetts of crime and evil.

Other major characters in the movie include their friend David Della Rocco, FBI Agent Paul Smecker, and local mafia boss Giuseppe “Papa Joe” Yakavetta.

The dialogue is peppered with profanities, so we had to adjust these Boondock Saints quotes slightly.

Due to the violence in the movie, the film’s distributor allowed only limited screening in the United States because of the then-recent Columbine High School shooting.

The film received generally negative reviews from critics. Rotten Tomatoes called the film “A juvenile, ugly movie that represents the worst tendencies of directors channeling Tarantino.”

However, the film did make money, and now has a large cult following.

If you are part of that cult, you’ll enjoy our selection of Boondock Saints Quotes.

If not, you can regard them as an introduction to the world of the Boondock Saints:

1. Murphy :

We’re like seven-eleven, we ain’t always doing business- but we’re always open.

2. Rocco:

They can suck my pathetic little d**k. And I’ll even dip my nuts in marinara so the fat b***rds can get a taste of home.

3. Murphy :

Fine, get your stupid f*cking rope.

4. Yakavetta:

The 90’s are killing me. I shouldn’t have done that. You’re not supposed to tell a guy you’re gonna kill him no more. I got to tiptoe through the tulips with these a**holes. Taking all the fun out of the job.

5. Rocco:

I killed your cat, you druggie b*tch!

6. Connor:

Jeez! It’s a f**kin’ six-shooter. F**k!

7. Smecker:

First of all, I’d like to thank whichever one of you donut-munching, barrel-assed, pud-pulling sissies leaked this to the press.

8. Murphy :

You’d probably have better luck with beer.

9. Rocco:

This guy takes out a whole family… wife, kids, everybody… like he’s ordering f**king pizza.

10. Yakavetta:

He’s happy now, just killing us one by one. And worse, he’s good at it.

Of course, these few Boondock Saints quotes can only give you the flavor of the movie.
