Blind, Homeless Cat Gets His Own Seeing Eye Kitten And A Happy Ending

A cat who first appeared hopeless and helpless is on his way to finally getting the happy ending everyone deserves.

Stray cat Steuben was barely surviving on the streets before he was rescued by a good Samaritan from an Ohio humane society organization.

Cleveland Animal Protective League posted on social media that upon receiving the 6-month-old cat, they discovered he was born with horribly damaged eyes and needed to remove them to stop his constant pain.

Although the black and white cat’s sufferring had finally ended, learning to live with his blindness would be a new struggle for Steuben.

Yet, while he was recovering in his foster home, something unexpected and incredible happened.

Steuben befriended a tiny kitten who truly lives up to her name, Precious. As we learn in the post above, the baby didn’t just become Steuben’s best friend, but also his new pair of eyes.

“3-month-old Precious taps Steuben when it is time to eat and gently leads him to his food bowl to help him find his way. Steuben returns the favor by giving his kitten companion a bath.” Cleveland APL wrote.

Rescuers decided these two were made for eachother and they’re awaiting the cats’ forever family to show up and shower them with love.
