Cat Turns Into Beautiful ‘Marble’ Due To Rare Skin Condition

Scrappy the cat came into his owner David’s life as a teeny black kitten back in 1997.

Scrappy was sitting on his own and, though he was cute, we didn’t think others would regard him to be as cute as his siblings. I made the decision to take Scrappy as I knew he would be the last one to be taken, if at all,” David told MeowBox

However, when Scrappy turned 7, his fur started changing, and he got little white dots all over.

This is most likely due to vitiligo, which is rarely found in cats, although, it left Scrappy looking like he was made of marble.

Luckily, the condition doesn’t affect Scrappy’s health. Instead, he looks as handsome as ever.

Now, 19 years after getting Scrappy, David says that’s he’s still as kick-ass as ever. “Despite his age, he [picks scraps] with the neighborhood cats… I guess you could say that he rules the street.”

“Scrappy is a total diva,” David continued. “He isn’t the best cat to take photos of as most of the time he looks the other way or walks away… He can also be quite grumpy at times.”

Regardless, David loves his ‘marble’ dog and promises to be by his side forever.
