There’s nothing more upsetting for a little girl on Halloween than being told she can’t trick-or-treat because she’s stuck 35,000 feet away from the nearest doorbell.
Unfortunately for a three-year-old named Molly, this was her reality on Halloween. Molly couldn’t go trick-or-treating because, during witching hour and the hours leading up to it, she was confined to an excruciatingly long flight from Boston to San Francisco. Try keeping a toddler entertained during that ordeal when she has candy on her mind!
OMG, my heart is exploding right now. Dad of the year just passed out candy to everyone on the flight so his 3 year old could trick or treat pic.twitter.com/vfsAcYNrhr

The Boston Dad (whose name sources do not know) thought up a clever way to make sure his little girl, who happened to be dressed as a donut, didn’t miss a second of the fun. The creative father passed out candy on the plane, along with a note explaining the situation to his fellow travelers. It read as follows:
Happy Halloween! My 3-year-old daughter, Molly, was bummed that she wouldn’t be able to go trick-or-treating this year due to this flight… so I decided to bring trick-or-treating to her. If you are willing, when my little donut comes down the aisle, please drop this in her basket. You’ll be making her Halloween! If you’re unwilling, no worries, just pass the treat back to me. Thanks so much!
Not only did this father melt hearts all along the plane, he also melted hearts all along the internet after his inspiring story went viral.
