When the amazing rescue heroes of Animal Aid Unlimited in India heard about a street puppy that had gotten stuck in a thick layer of tar, they ran to her side.
The 3-month-old pup was unlucky to have gotten stuck in the tar and it happened near a road that was being repaired. She was trapped and unable to stand or move her legs on her own, and a little boy found her and called Animal Aid to rescue the pup.
When the arrived, they knew they had their work cut out for them. Rescuers massaged vegetable oil all over the puppy’s body until the tar started to melt and repeated this process several times until it was completely gone.
Then the puppy was given a soap water bath to remove the excess tar and it took Animal Aid four oil and bath treatments to remove everything.
Soon, the tar-covered puppy was clean and healthy, and ready to start her life as a brand new dog!
Nowadays, she enjoys time playing on the property with the other rescue pups, and she can’t stop licking the kind-hearted people who saved her life!
