Oklahoma Animal Welfare Capture Wolf-Dog That Has Been Terrorizing The Town

It’s a case of mistaken dog identity, a rare case that we never come across making incidents like these all the more fascinating…

When you see a wolf wandering the streets (if you see a wolf wandering the streets), it’s rarely a case of identity theft, but an Oklahoma animal is challenging that status quo. For the past few months, residents of Lawton, OK accepted there was a wild wolf on the run bringing down mayhem and getting into the trash. At least, that’s who everyone thought was doing it…

However, after capturing the critter, animal authorities discovered the animal is actually a wolf-dog, a rare breed that has been making headlines in recent years. The animals look impressively like wolves, but technically fall into the dog category and are bred with dogs (not wolves).
