Rather Than Leaving His Waiter A Tip, Attorney Offers Him $25,000 For Dental Surgery

What does it take to make the world a better place?

If you ask Attorney Fred Boettcher, he’ll tell you it’s all about performing random acts of kindness. This generous man has earned a nice life for himself by working hard and climbing to the top of the corporate food chain, but he realizes not everyone has been so lucky.

Someone who knows this well was Brian, a humble server at the Doo-Dah Diner in Wichita, Kansas. He enjoys it and never seems to stop smiling, despite painful dental issues that left his mouth marred by painful tooth decay. Brian has not been as lucky as Fred and as a waiter, his income hasn’t allowed for the proper dental care he requires.

So when Fred came in for lunch one day, he opted out of tipping his smiley waiter and instead offered to buy the man a new set of teeth. Shockingly, the attorney laid down $25,000 of tooth repair costs and generously bought the kind stranger a solution to a life-long problem. Timirie Shibley owns the diner with her husband, and she wasn’t too surprised when a customer decided to do something to help Brian.
