The 5 Most Lovable Disney Princesses Ever Created

Disney Princesses are adored by millions of people around the world, but which are the most loved of all?

Disney Princesses are as big a part of a kid’s imagination as any of the wonderful Disney characters.

But there is just something special and unique about Disney Princesses, especially for the little girls they appeal to.

While there is plenty of debate about who are the most lovable Disney Princesses, there are a few that have to be top of the list

We don’t think you’ll be that surprised with the top 5 that we have chosen for you today. After all, some Disney Princesses are known and loved by literally millions of people.

The Disney Princess media franchise that is owned by The Walt Disney Company, which was created by Disney Consumer Products chairman Andy Mooney in the late 1990s, includes in total eleven princesses, officially.

The 11 Disney Princesses are: Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana, Rapunzel and Merida.

Of the original line up of princesses, four are royal by blood, two have married into royalty and two others who are considered “Mythological Princesses.”

So, without further ado here is the Lifedaily list of the 5 most lovable Disney Princesses ever created:

1. Snow White

Undoubtably one of the oldest and most classic (and beautiful) of the Disney Princesses, Snow White first hit the screen along with her Seven Dwarfs all the way back in 1937. With skin like the driven snow, contrasted with jet black hair and ruby red lips, Snow White is definitely one of the most lovable.

2. Cinderella

Chronologically, Cinderella was the second of the Disney Princesses to be created, and she hit the big screen together with her ugly step-sisters, back in 1950. By today’s standards, her story would be considered a tragic one as she was forced to serve her evil stepmother and step-siblings. A truly stunning blonde princess, Cinderella deserves her title of the “Leader of the Disney Princesses”.

3. Pocahontas

In at number three is the (much) more exotic looking Pocahontas, who is actually the seventh Disney Princess, having appeared in their 33rd animated feature film in 1995. But did you know that Pocahontas is based on a real character? Pocahontas, who lived from 1595-1617, was in fact the daughter of a Native American chief.

4. Mulan

Mulan was created just after Pocahontas, and appeared in Disney’s 36th feature film, Mulan, in 1998. In a similar theme to her predecessor, Mulan is based on the legend of Hua Mulan. Mulan, is indeed one of the toughest and most heroic of the Disney Princesses and even disguises herself as a male soldier in order to fight the Chinese army in place of her wounded father.

5. Rapunzel

Last, but by no means least, on today’s Lifedaily top 5 list is Rapunzel, who is the most recent of the princesses on the list. First featured in the film Tangled in 2010, Rapunzel is based on the heroine of the German fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm. She even got officially “coronated” into the Disney Princess franchise on October 2, 2011 at Kensington Palace in London, England.

Of course, when compiling a list like this we are aware that at the end of the day it’s subjective and everyone has their own favorites when it comes to Disney Princesses.

We’d love to hear who your favorite Disney Princesses are, and why you think they are the most lovable ones ever created.
